Portable Inverter Generator: Champion 2000-Watt Stackable

Champion - Inverter Generator

The most affordable full-size generator here, this Champion is loaded with plenty of power and features to get you through a storm. It’ll run on propane for up to 10.5 hours or a full-tank of gas for up to nine. In addition to its easy push-button start, its cold-start technology improves its ability to power up when the temperature drops, which is especially useful when you loose electricity in the middle of a blizzard. (Typically, the cold air in the cylinders means the gas can’t vaporize correctly for combustion below 40 degrees.) The Champion also boasts features for safety and durability like a cast-iron sleeve, built-in surge protection, oil sensors, a folding handle, and variety of outlets—all of which make it a great buy for a relatively low cost.

Champion 2000-Watt Stackable Review

Review 1:

This is a cheaply made Chinese generator. Avoid it. Westinghouse licenses their name to the manufacturer. There are no parts and no service support for these units. Although they include a list of service centers, those service centers do not work on them and will tell you to contact the manufacturer. Good luck with that.

If they die, they are throwaways. Champion, Sportsman and others being sold both online and at big box stores are similar and have no parts available in the US or Canada.

A generator is an investment that can last a long time if cared for and serviced, but there needs to be parts and service availability. Stick with name brands like Honda, Generac, and Kohler for generators. Parts and service are readily available. You pay more up front, but won't end up throwing it away in two years.

If you have a basement with a sump pump, a generator is a solid purchase to keep it from flooding in an outage. Same in Winter if you have oil or gas heat, a generator will allow you to run the furnace when wired in properly with a transfer switch, and prevent a freeze up of your pipes. Good luck.

Review 2:

Because China is populous, capitalist corporations will invest and produce in China to sell. Same model as Champion's, but some are for Chinese people and neighboring areas, some are for Europeans and Americans. Where they are made right now is not that important, since the technology is still Champion, but what about they are made in China?

Final Alternatives for Portable Inverter Generator: Non-inverter generators, but frequency stable, and portable. The output is AC power 50-60Hz. This is Tesla technology.

Plan of Homemade AC Generator:

✔ The Real Nature of Tesla AC Generator

✔ Combination of induction motor and alternator
✔ Combination between generators
✔ Or maybe called Overunity for the system. Mother Nature doesn't care about people calling or naming phenomena. Overunity or Free Energy, or Zero Point Energy (ZPE) are just a few different words
